- The right-sized model. Simple sorting and extraction run on small, cheap models. The bigger models are saved for the jobs that need them.
- Caching and batching. Repeated work is not paid for twice, and non-urgent jobs are batched.
- Spend limits. Hard monthly caps and alerts on your account, so a bill can never surprise you.

How we keep running costs low
Your account, your bill
Everything runs on accounts in your name, so you can see exactly what you are paying the AI provider. There is no markup from us and no per-seat subscription. Where your team already uses Claude or ChatGPT business plans for day-to-day work, we design around those too, so you are not paying twice.
No subscription from us
You pay a fixed price for the build. After that, an optional care plan if you want us to monitor and improve it, month to month, with thirty days' notice to stop. Many clients simply run it themselves.

Roughly what does the AI cost each month?
It depends on volume. Sorting a few hundred emails or invoices a month typically costs a few dollars in model usage. We estimate it for you during scoping, before you commit.
Can we run it on our Claude or ChatGPT subscription?
Business automations that run on their own generally need the provider's API rather than a personal subscription, under the provider's terms. We set this up properly in your name and keep usage low, and design human-in-the-loop work around the team plans you already have.
What stops costs running away?
